Caterpillar-Cloth Collections is a small business owned and operated by Peggy ( Margaret ) Dwyer located in the mid west on a very old and spiritual dairy farm.
Customer satisfaction takes priority and Margaret goes beyond and above the call of duty … as she designs her precious and unique works of art. Vintage chenille has captured her love for extremely unusual tactile textiles and Margaret is known for her ONE OF A KIND designs. She uses unusable chenille from bedspreads that can no longer be used “as is”, and lovingly measures and sews patches of the glorious stuff into her gorgeous quilts . Measuring 45 X 45 to 110 X 110 … the works are used as quilts, coverlets, lap top blankets, and often … wall decorations. The new quilts can be laundered and dryer dried, using good sense , knowing that the quilts are all designed with patches of 80 years old textiles. NEVER use fabric softener with fine vintage linens, as the fabric softeners destroy the fibers quickly and unecessarily! Please!
